Pastor Battles Etsu Nupe Over Daughter’s “Forced Conversion” To Islam

When Miss Charity (Aisha) Uzoechina, 24-year-old daughter of a Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, left their Abuja home to further her studies at the Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State, her parents had no inkling that it was the beginning of many days of sorrow.
Instead of the formal education she traveled to acquire, the young Christian girl is now allegedly pursuing her new faith of Islam at the palace of the Etsu Nupe.For the parents, the pain is not just that Charity has abandoned her Christian faith, but that she now stands completely separated from them.
She was alleged to have converted to Islam on her own volition and changed her name to Aisha.

Woman Beats 11-Year Old Maid To Death

A middle aged woman simply identified as madam Agnes is currently being detained at the State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID Panti, for allegedly beating an 11-year-old child  that was staying with her to death.

The deceased identified as Angelina, was reportedly taken from her parents in far away Ogoja, Cross River state by Agnes, with a promise to send her to school, when she was barely four years old. Angelina, grew up calling her guardian mother, apparently unaware she was not her biological mother.

Fatal attraction: Housewife dies in hotel room after romantic session with young lover

 

A married woman identified as Glory Abbey died in a room at the Kings of Queens Hotel during a romantic session with a young lover over the weekend in Lagos, new reports say.
Described as a housewife, reports said Abbey’s body was abandoned by the yet to be identified man who fled immediately without informing the hotel’s management about what happened.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, described Abbey’s death as sudden and unnatural adding that  her body has been deposited at the mortuary for autopsy, and investigation into the matter has started.
Located at 11, Otunba Oladokun Street, Lanre Bus Stop, Igando, Lagos, staff were said to have been confused on how she could have died.

William and Kate name son George Alexander Louis

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate have revealed their new born son's name.

Kensington Palace said in a short statement this evening:

'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son George Alexander Louis. The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.

Lagos govt dumps 70 beggars and homeless people in Onitsha

The Lagos State Government yesterday Wednesday July 24th dumped over seventy people said to be beggars and homeless people in Onitsha.

The destitute were brought into the state around 3am yesterday and left them under the flyover at Upper Iweka Bridge after being detained in Lagos for months for begging, wandering and other minor offenses by the Lagos State Kick Against Indiscipline Officials. Many of the people dumped at the location said they were not even from Onitsha and didn't understand why they were dropped there. Some claimed they have family in Lagos and were picked up by KAI officials as they went to work.

This is the second time in a year the Lagos State govt will dump people at Upper Iweka in Anambra
