THE ARE NOT CALLED THE POWER COUPLE FOR NOTHING
culled from Billboard,

Beyonce and Jay Z land atop the Hot Tours chart, having wrapped the North American leg of their On the Run tour that played stadiums in 16 markets during a six-week span in the summer. Box office grosses totaled $96 million from ticket sales reported by tour promoter Live Nation for 19 sold-out performances during the summertime trek that kicked off June 25 in Florida and wrapped Aug. 6 in California.

The co-headlining couple booked two-show engagements in three markets on the schedule: New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The New York/New Jersey metropolitan area hosted the tour on July 11 and 12 with an attendance count of 89,165 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. With ticket sales totaling $11.5 million, the New Jersey venue was the top-grossing stadium during the tour's U.S. and Canadian run. Los Angeles-area fans saw the tour at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena with performances on Aug. 2 and 3. Jay Z and Beyoncé performed for 96,994 fans at the historic Southern California football venue, grossing $10.9 million. The final stadium during the summer run was AT&T Park, home of Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants. The Bay Area generated $8.8 million in ticket sales from 73,020 seats for sellouts on Aug. 5 and 6. Jay and Bey will cross the pond for the tour's final engagement, a two-night stand in Paris on Sept. 12 and 13. The two concerts will occur at Stade de France and will be taped by HBO for broadcast on Sept. 20.
